Panels on the peninsula collect two things that inland panels mostly do not: a salt film blown off the water, and the fine litter that comes off gum trees on bush-edge streets. Both dull the glass rather than block it outright, so the loss is gradual and easy to miss until you compare one summer against the last. Birds nesting under panel rows are common here too, and that mess ends up on the panels below and in the gutter. We clean the glass and clear what has collected around and under the array. We do not touch the electrical side.
