KLIP-LOK concealed-fix sheeting can be installed to a pitch as low as 1 degree in 0.48 mm base metal thickness, meeting AS/NZS 1562.1:2018. That is the usual answer for a flat rear extension where corrugated sheet would not comply.

CUSTOM ORB corrugated profile is rated down to a minimum roof pitch of 5 degrees. Laid flatter than that, water sits in the pans instead of running off and the sheet holds moisture against the fasteners, no matter how well it is screwed down.

Woollahra does not allow panels on the roof plane facing the primary street in heritage areas, limits projection to 500mm, and pushes slate roofs to a full application. It also asks for a 300mm setback from roof edges for future maintenance access.
